NMR Facility

NMR in Biochemistry

The Biomolecular NMR Facility is located in the Sanger Building of the Department of Biochemistry on Tennis Court Road and provides instrumentation, research infrastructure and expertise for the groups in the Department of Biochemistry who want to use NMR spectroscopy as well as to external collaborators.

Three spectrometers are available encompassing field strengths from 500-800 MHz, all equipped with cyroprobes.

The facility is part of a larger collection of service and research facilities in the Department of Biochemistry. A pdf brochure may be found here.

The infrastructure of the NMR Facility was funded through the BBSRC and the Wellcome Trust. More details can be found on the facility website.
